On todays Amazon Outfits #5, we have another iconic Friends character: Monica Geller. Nowadays, whenever I watch Friends, I find myself paying more attention to the fashion than to the actual story. I find that although the show took place in the late 90s/early 2000s, the outfits the characters wear stand the test of time. Todays outfit is one of those outfits where the simplicity of it makes it as relevant today as it was back in 2000!
Every 90s/early 2000s look starts off with a good pair of denim. A light-wash, blue Levi’s jean goes with almost anything and is so easy to style. You can dress them up or dress them down but either way you will look stylish!
The reason why this outfit stood out to me was the because of the way it looks on Courtney Cox. Her dark black hair compliments the bright red tank so nicely that it makes this simple outfit look so much more intricate than it really is.
A white sneaker should be a closet staple. It literally goes with everything. You can wear it with dresses, jeans, sweatpants and so much more. A sleek white shoe like a converse will make your outfit look more sophisticated as opposed to a chunky or bulky sneaker.
Another closet staple is a simple black purse. You don’t need a crazy, high brand purse to look put together. This simple purse from Amazon will complete any look and conveniently is big enough to actually be useful too.
So Ladies and Gentlemen, lets channel our inner early 2000s girl with Amazon Outfits #5 and we can all dress like Monica Geller together!
