If you have watched Friends, then you know that the fashion on that show was impeccable. There have been so many iconic looks from that show that I could make a whole series dedicated to that. But today on our Amazon Outfits #4, we have an iconic look from Rachel Green.
The iconic plaid skirt! This skirt is so versatile. You can dress it up with a pair of stockings and heels or wear it more casually just like Rachel Green does in the show with a turtle neck and high socks.
A simple white turtle neck is a closet staple. It’s perfect in the colder months for layering where you can leave the neck peeking through a sweater you layer on top!
I will be the first to admit, when I first saw the socks in this outfit I didn’t love it. But boy has it grown on me. The socks pair nicely with the white top and allows the skirt to have its moment by being the focal point of the outfit. Also, the contrast between the white sock and the black loafer creates the perfect balance.
I am so happy loafers are in again. They are so comfy and provide an edgy look to what would be a more feminine outfit. They can also be paired with ANY outfit! You can wear them on a night out, wear them to work or wear them to run errands.
